Nominations for the 45th annual RIANZ Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards are set to open – and for the first time a Tui is being awarded for the best Pop album.

The VNZMA 2009 show was voted winner of the TV Guide, Best on the Box Peoples choice award for Best Special Event!

A recording project for Wellington’s NZ School of Music Big Band has been awarded the Tui for Best Jazz Album of 2009.

Entries are now open for Best Country Music Album 2010.
