The three finalists for the Best Jazz Album of 2009 have been announced and include some of the biggest names in the genre in the global music scene.

Entries are now open for all categories including the Tui Award for Best Pacific Music Album 2010.

Artists from Wellington, Christchurch and the South Island’s West Coast are the finalists for New Zealand’s Best Folk Album of 2009.

March 2010 sees the commencement of a new and very special award on the New Zealand music landscape, which will be known as The Taite Music Prize. Named after the late Dylan Taite.
